Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Taylor Made StepSafe Dock Step. This is going to give you an extra boost up to get into your boat. It is very durable, it's made of a polyethylene, so it's going to resist UV rays. It's very easy to clean with soap and water, and it has this nice sandstone color, tan color to it. So it will look really nice.
This is going to give you overall about 11 and a half inches of height, right about 22 inches wide, and about 18 inches deep. This will hold up to 300 pounds, and I'm just under that myself, and you can see I stand on here pretty easily, it's not bowing or anything like that, so it's going to hold up well for you.It does have this textured adhesive pad on top, that's going to provide a nice grip for sure footing, and to help prevent slipping with your wet feet in a wet area. This pad here, dimensions looking at right about 14 inches wide, by about three and a quarter inches deep. It does have a flange from the edges, that's to allow you to mount this permanently. They do include screws, they have pre-drilled screw holes there, so that you can easily mount this onto your dock next to your boat so you don't have to worry about it moving around on you.
It is right about 11 pounds, so it's not super heavy, but probably not something that you'd want to carry around with you from place to place, so that permanent mounting option is probably going to be your best bet. Those pre drilled screw holes are an eighth of an inch, and they do include the screws to help you get this mounted in place.It is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. Overall, I think this is going to be a great option for you, and give you just a little extra boost up to get into your boat and make it a little bit easier for you. There are other options, this is just the one-step option. They also have a two-step and a three-step option, so depending on how high your boat is, could look into some of those other options as well and make it a little bit easier for yourself too.That's going to complete our look for today.

These dock steps are wonderful. We use them for our Carver Yacht and our guests appreciate that they can step right onto the landing with ease. It's sturdy and we like the storage inside for our cleaning supplies and hose. It can fit tons of stuff. Nice looking and worth the cost.
The steps are very nice! But ,the packaging was terrible !!! Who ever stuck the steps in a box like that, should have training. What fool, would used a bang up box to begin with taped up the sides to keep it together.
